Laying records and temperatures

Infra-red temperature sensors, GPS tracking and weather stations are fitted to build a highly accurate, digital, record of information that is vital to effective road construction.
This also improves the safety of technical staff by taking them away from potentially hazardous situations around the paver.

Continuous Compaction Control

Our compaction systems help rollers drivers compact bituminous materials properly.
 
By combining clever materials testing knowledge with careful calibration, HDS systems provide test results for 100% of the compacted area.
 
The real-time information helps ensure that no areas are missed at the time of compaction.

Rate of Spread App

The rate of spread app is used for measuring the rate of spread of pre-coated chippings. 
Connected to an infra-red camera, site operatives can use the app to swiftly ascertain % coverage across an HRA mat, as well as conventional Kg/m² coverage.
Much safer than a technician moving between rollers and a chipping machine, find out why you should be using the ROS app!

Laser surveys

Our proprietary laser survey systems improve traditional methods of testing for surface macrotexture and surface regularity.
We also have capability to carry out testing for International Roughness Index (IRI), transverse profile and rutting.
 
The lasers are fitted to survey vehicles meaning technicians are not exposed to hazardous situations and roads do not need to be closed for testing.
