Following the introduction of innovative new data capture specifications by Transport Scotland, HDS provide all technology to contractors across the network.

HDS took part in a National Highways sponsored designated funding project to establish a basis for the use of continuous compaction control technology on highways earthworks construction.

Silverstone race track – HDS were bought in during and after the resurfacing of Silverstone racetrack in 2019 to measure the improvement in smoothness and ride quality (International Roughness Index), surface texture (MPD) and skid resistance (Scrim).

Colas undertook a full runway resurfacing project for Gatwick Airport in Spring of 2022.
